Our Staff

Dr. BarnoDr. David Barno:

Dr. Barno was born and raised in Minnesota and received his degree from the University of Minnesota in 1980. He began his career at Rock Creek Veterinary Hospital and continues to enjoy the long term relationships with clients and their families whether they have 2 or 4 legs, fur, feathers or scales. In the photo he is holding Henry, who became a family member 26 years ago.

David enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and has special interests in surgery, dentistry, birds and reptiles.

David and his wife Linda live in Hillsboro and have three children. They keep busy at home taking care of the cattle, horses, tortoises, dogs, cats, birds, etc. A good reason to pursue a veterinary career when you have always had so many critters.

Outside of work David enjoys outdoor activities and good friends.
